You read right - the sequel to one of the most popular Final Fantasy's ever has passed the half-a-million mark!
The
game is currently only available in Japan, and has been on shelves
since April, yet in this short time with such a small area of
influence, Motomu Toriyama's DS title Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings has sold a staggering
520,000 units!
On a similar topic, Square also mentioned that the PSP title Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou has sold a huge
310,000 units since its release - a great amount for what is essentially a re-release.
Keep
your eyes on Final Fantasy Insider in the coming months - these huge
titles are on the way to their US releases, with Shishi Sensou
releasing here as Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on
October 9 and Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings will be released on
November 20 - both titles are part of the Ivalice Alliance campaign.
