Yep, another Final Fantasy on DS, another similarly themed design applied to the console's Lite form.

This one's really no different to the last (FF3) one - Square-Enix has just shown us a first glimpse of the new Nintendo DS Gemini Edition, featuring an emblazoned logo of Ring of Fates.

Nothing too amazing, but still interesting for Final Fantasy collectors who haven't gotten around to picking up the console yet. Get ready though, 'cause a new design will most probably be released within the next year anyway with the FF4 Edition - no word on what this looks like though.

The Nintendo DS Gemini Edition will be released in a bundle with Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates on August 23, 2007 in Japan. No word on a US release for either the game or the DS itself. Don't expect to see the design Stateside for a long while though, if ever.
